Arrow of light uniform placement.

The arrow of light rank patch goes directly below the left pocket. In either case the webelos hat and plaid neckerchief are worn. The arrow of light award is worn on the left pocket of the tan boy scouts uniform. Insignia below are worn in the same way on either the blue or the khaki uniform unless otherwise noted.

You might not have thought about it as a child starting out in a cub scout pack but earning the arrow of light means you can wear the corresponding knot as an adult per know your boy scouts square knots by bryan wendell from the january february. This is a restricted item and is available only in your local council trading post or scout shop with required paperwork. If you re talking about the standard boy scout uniform it is placed below the rank patch. Webelos whether in their first year or working towards their arrow of light have the choice between wearing the blue uniform or the khaki uniform. When the scouts earn their webelos rank they will wear the badge sewn onto the left pocket. Webelos and arrows of light wear the tan uniform shirt like boy scouts.

Arrow of light on the other hand is a rank and award. That would be below the left side breast pocket.
